Information
We’re restoring one of Fromberg’s oldest buildings — not just to preserve history, but to reignite community. From youth programs to outfitter housing and reenactments, the revival is just beginning.
This 1909 brick structure will soon house, a youth community center, it once held pool tables a soda fountain, and small-town spirit.
Because in Montana we don't throw away history, we breathe life back into it. Answering that call to bring to life back into this building with:
- A youth and community center
- Efficiency apartments (including one rent-free for a local outfitter)
- Space for community programs, tourism, and connection
Every board removed, every brick restored, is part of a much bigger story — one of resurrection, resilience, and rural revival.
With grit, heart and purpose. Come see what happens when Montanans dream big and build together,

Our Projects
Original federal land patent bearing signature of President Theordore Roosevelt, documenting the early legal foundation of property in Fromberg. The record connects our historic building to the towns earliest period of development and federal settlement history.
Then: This building stood tall in 1911- a place of gathering, grit, and small-town spirit.
Today, the bricks are cracked, the roof is gone, Time has taken its toll. But we see more then decay. We see possibility.
Now: this boarded up structure isn't just a relic-- its's a reflection of what many rural communities face:neglect, loss, untapped potential. We're not walking away, we're walking in.
Next: This isn't a restoration--it's a resurrection. The heartbeat of Fromberg never stopped.
It's buried beneath boarded windows, cracked brick and time.
But now, something ancient is rising.
Hope.
Belonging.
The fierce beauty of beginning again.
Every brick we lay is a promise.
Every window we uncover is a prayer.
Every soul who joins becomes a part of the story.
And this is only the beginning.
This isn't just a building.
It's a spark.
Come be a part of something real.
Help us turn history into a living legacy.
Whether you build, teach, plant or dream--
there is a place for you here.
Together, we will raise more than walls.
Understanding the Impact of Tree Roots on Surrounding Structures
The tree roots have raised the coal chute, cracking bricks in the process. This phenomenon occurs when the roots of trees expand in search of nutrients and water, often leading them to interfere with nearby structures. Over time, as roots grow and spread, they exert pressure on foundations and walls, causing serious damage. When this happens, it’s essential to address the issue promptly to prevent further structural problems. Regular inspections can help homeowners identify such risks early, allowing for effective solutions, such as root pruning or directing water drainage away from the affected area. Overall, understanding the impact of tree roots on buildings is crucial for maintaining the integrity of your property.
We will raise hope.
